Quantity Surveyor – Stavanger
Introduction
Location: Stavanger or Oslo
Duration: 02.02.2025-30.01.2026
Function
- Execute work related to establishing quantities of projects facilities and scope of work according to Companys requirements in close cooperation with technical disciplines, project control, planners and contract coordinators.
- Ensure the latest Company documents and templates have been incorporated in the Contract
- Check and populate compensation items with representative quantities covering the full scope of work.
- Evaluate the Contractor Tender responses
- Plan, perform and follow-up reviews of contractor’s processes, systems and plans for quantity measurement and forecasting
- Check and verify the Contractor’s quantity measurements and use of Compensation codes to ensure a timely and correct final settlement.
- Detail review of Contractor’s quantity forecast for the total scope, estimated man-hours, bulk material unit cost and costs for Variation Orders
- Contribute to forecast for Baseline updates.
- Participate in evaluation of Variation Orders, Project Change Proposals etc. when required.
- Collaborate with the Weight Control function and ensure there is a correlation between published weight forecasts and quantity forecasts.
- Propose improvements to procedures, practices and systems within discipline.
- Conduct cost and progress control, including forecasting and analysis for the contract.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience within Quantity Measurement or Weight Control preferably with several project types (Onshore, Offshore, Greenfield and Brownfield)
- Technical, commercial, or analytical background with multidisciplinary understanding is beneficial i.e., Mechanical, piping and layout, structure.
- Good communication skills, collaborative, structured, systematic, and analytical. Positive and eager
- A team player and able to work in multifunctional teams • Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree is preferred, but relevant experience may compensate for formal qualifications
