QHSE Manager – Oslo

Introduction

Location: Oslo 
Duration: 01/01/25 – 6 months

Function

Purpose:

  • Ensure that Quality and HSE practice is compliant with national and international standards and regulations
  • Ensure that Quality and HSE practice is compliant with Nexans standards
  • Ensure that the plant and its activities is compliant with requirements in relevant ISO standards
  • Ensure that all relevant safety standards are followed 

Areas of responsibility:

  • Responsible for site QHSE system and routines
  • Responsible for employee safety
  • Responsible for site security
  • Responsible for site fire safety
  • Actively support and promote safe and responsible behavior at all levels in the local organization
  • Responsible for contact with the relevant local authorities
  • Responsible for compliance with EU directives
  • Responsible for site ISO certificates and related audits 

Expected results:

  • Compliance at all times with national, international and corporate QHSE standards
  • Safe working conditions on the complete site
  • Correct reporting of QHSE non-conformities
  • Continuous improvement based on thorough analysis of QHSE non-conformities thus improving site quality and safety 
  • Correct marking of any hazard on the site at all times
  • Updated and reliable documentation regarding all relevant QHSE topics
  • Valid letters of conformity for the complete product portfolio (CE documentation)

Requirements

Personal skills:

  • Structured, analytical, orderly and methodical
  • Responsible and high ethical standards
  • Good communication skills at all levels
  • Fluent in English and Norwegian language (written/spoken)
