Function
- Planning Manager for the project, covering all the Work Breakdown Structures
- Creation and maintenance of Master schedule and detailed schedule
- Creation of Critical Path Analysis
- Involved in Risk analysis
- Identification and resolving schedule conflicts
- Monthly progress report to the customer including but not limited to overall progress, main tasks achieved for the month, look ahead plan, extraction of L-3 & L4 Plan, Critical path, S curves, doc plan, etc, and coordinating with all internal stakeholders located at different region to get updates on time
- Internal reporting and participation in preparation of planning slides for monthly internal Project business review
- Create and update the Contractor Contract Baseline (Schedule baseline management – Rebaselining the schedule two times in a year)
- Assisting finance teams in terms of actuals and earned values
- Contribute with KPI updates for Management Reviews
- Strong coordination with all the entities contributing to the project both internally and externally
- Close coordination with document manager ensuring alignment of the dates of document submission as per Project baseline
- Close coordination with contract manager and finance manager for updates and follow up of contractual milestones
- Participating with overall integrating schedule meeting with Client and other external stakeholders and aligning project schedule with overall integrated schedule
- Preparation and submission of weekly testing schedule to the client.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Railway or similar
- Min. 5 years’ experience as Planning Manager
- Full overview of the business lifecycle management, including capture, qualification and developing plans, and winning strategies
- Concept of rolling wave planning and handling of complex schedule
- Extensive client and stakeholder management
- Extensive knowledge within MS Office tools and Primavera (P6)
- Fluency in Norwegian and English, written and spoken
