Commissioning SRE Material Handling – Stavanger

Location: Stavanger
Duration: ASAP – 31.07.2025

Function

  • Act as Company representative for the Area Completion and Material Handling Commissioning discipline performance.
  • Oversee area completion punch out, light and sound measurements, WEAC evaluations, personnel/goods lift and crane testing and certification.
  • Ensure that commissioning activities are timely planned and executed.
  • Do signing and reporting status from PIMS CMS for Commissioning
  • Define commissioning activities and agree on milestones for Jotun FPSO as input for the integrated schedule.
  • Execute commissioning activities in accordance with established procedures and plans.
  • Monitor progress and assess progress reports issued by suppliers/vendors related to construction-related issues.
  • Participate in HAZID and HAZOP and other HSEQ related reviews.
  • Contribute to the Management of Change process and project risk workshops, identifying and following up on relevant risks and mitigating actions.
  • Coordinate and support construction and commissioning interfaces across all disciplines.
  • Act as a driving force for the development and implementation of commissioning activities for the Jotun FPSO project.
  • Participate in the handover process from commissioning to operations for all Area and Material Handling disciplines.
  • Ensure necessary test equipment, temporaries, tools, and commissioning spare parts for all Areas and Material Handling.
  • Advocate and contribute to the good working relationship and environment within the Commissioning group, as well as between Company and Contractors at sites.

Requirements

  • University degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience as a Commissioning Engineer or other relevant experience within larger development projects on the NCS.
  • Offshore experience from completion and start-up activities will be considered an advantage.
  • Committed to company HSE policy and principles, acting responsibly and in accordance with company HSE and Quality requirements.
  • Creative, open, responsible, and entrepreneurial.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive mindset and work style, able to influence others and create a motivational working climate.
  • Please note that the candidate must have a valid health certificate and offshore certificate
  • Language: English, Scandinavian is an advantage, both orally and written
